Approximately every three months we hold a channel meet (called that mainly because everyone who has come
to them are on the same IRC channels) at Robin's house in Swindon, UK.
The meets are always on a Sunday (due to when our visitors tend to be working).
All the meets so far have been successes, and various people have done reports about them (see the links
on the left). The next meet is scheduled for the 29th August 2004, and should have even more people than
last time.
There are only two rules for one of our meets,
- No alcohol is supplied - if you want to bring your own that's your choice, just be sensible with it.
- If you want to smoke, you can do it outside. Even if it's raining.
People are invited to turn up from 10am, at about 12:30pm we go to the pub where everyone pays for their own
lunch (so turn up later if you don't want to do that, though in hot enough weather there might be a bbq
instead). Then back to Robin's house for the rest of the afternoon.
At about 6pm Robin cooks fajitas for everyone still around,
then people start drifting off from about 7pm onwards (though those that stay might still be there the next morning ;-).
